I was wondering where do each of you study? I've been sitting at my Ikea particle-board desk for the last 2.5 weeks. A professor of mine says that it is a good idea to switch to a different place to study once in a while. I've never been a fan of the library because it could be very noisy in there; at least our library. People socialize too much in the library instead of studying.

So, I am thinking of going to the library of another campus for a change of scenery. What about you all?

Okay, back to pathology!

i agree - i like to switch it up, but maintain some consistency. i basically study at school at a study-carrel type thing by the window, at my parents' house in my sister's room, or at a coffee shop during the day. i mostly stick to school (it's quiet, and i can commiserate with other second years as needed), but if i feel like home-cooked food i study at my parents' for a couple days, either at the house, in the hammock (great for flashcards), or at caribou. i have my earplugs in all the time, and i find that coffee shops are usually pretty quiet during the day. if your town has a public library, that might be quieter than your school library. all the same, if studying at home is working for you, stick with it - no sense messing with a good thing!
