Hi, I am wondering if you guys would recommend to form a study group for DAT. We can help and motivate each other. I plan to take it in November. For someone who did well on DAT (got accepted), can you give us some good advices. I currently enrolled at CSULA (post-bac). Please help, I already applied 3 times. My GPA is around 3.1 (both) I know that this GPA is not very competitive. I need to do better on my DAT (old score: 19/19/17). Please help. I am loosing my motivation, hope, money.

I live around California State University, Los Angeles. We can meet at this school 🙂🙂🙂

I go to CSULA part-time to retake some basic science classes, since I took them long time ago. I don't mind studying in group with fellow pre-dents...I live DB area so let me know.

Yes, they have post-bac program for (pre-medical/dental students): predoctoral professional certificate (1-2yr).

Hope2007....thanks for the reply; any chance you could give me the link for the pre-med/pre-dental post bac program at CSULA. I haven't had any luck finding it.

Thanks!

I think your GPA can be compensated with a good DAT score. Honestly, although 3.1 is low, its not a disastrous GPA. Use as many resources as you can and put yourself into a study frenzy (3 months, 8 hours day ) and I am sure you will be fine.

Good luck!
