Why such hate for CRACK DAT SCIENCE?
1. People are willing to get their butt kicked by Achiever in all sections why not Crack DAT?
2. Looking for answers from people who have taken the DAT.
3. I have Destroyer, CRACK DAT, and Achiever.
4. The questions are hard but are they really that bad to practice??

Just a question and I hope to find some help in regard to this.

CrackDAT's science sections are not very representative of the real test. There are plenty of other resources out there closer to the real thing, using CrackDAT Science is inefficient in my opinion.

Not representative as far as difficulty? Main complaint I hear is too hard, but Achiever people seem to love the difficultly. Not trying to be argumentative trying to do my very best on the DAT. Can you elaborate a bit more.

Not representative as far as difficulty, subject emphasis, question types, etc. Some of the questions are way too specific or obscure to ever have a chance of reasonably being answered (or showing up in a similar way on the DAT). It's not awful or completely useless, the alternatives are just so much better that it's a waste of both time and money to use. It's better than nothing, but...that's about it.

Here's an example: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/crack-dat-ochem-question.1134396/ The real DAT would never give you such a ridiculous question if it wanted to test you on the concept of melting point or boiling point being affected by branching. It's far more straightforward with more clear cut examples.

I see what you are saying, much more complex and not near as straight forward. I'm getting 15-19 in BIO on Crack DAT just really detailed information. I appreciate the help. Will use it for my PAT studies, I feel like I wasted money but didn't find this forum till after I bought it. 🙁
