Any suggestions on study materials? I take my DAT on July 27th and I need help in science mostly. I currently am using Crack the DAT but mainly just for math and the PAT. I've heard DAT Destroyer is helpful. I don't have the money to shell out for a lot of programs/ books etc so what materials could I look into getting?

I would suggest buying DAT destroyer used from someone on here. Don't use Crack DAT math, it's not very good. I would get Bootcamp for sure, and for extra math help you need to understand every concept in bootcamp and destroyer and find extra practice problems. You can find these extra problems in Crack DAT as practice. There are some free tests that come when you sign up. Qvault has a few, DATgenius has a whole free test, and then you should take the 2007 DAT and buy 2009 or find it online if you can. Bio use feralis and you can find the campbells book/ppts online for free if you look hard. Chem and OC you need to just use destroyer to learn all the material and then test yourself w bootcamp and these other sites. Do NOT buy kaplan anything. Such a waste of money. If you need help with GC and OC, find an old book on amazon, stuff is exactly the same and you can find one for 10$. RC, just practice and work on reading speed and figure out important terms. PAT use Crack PAT as it is most similar but get good practice w Bootcamp as it has 10 practice tests that will help you succeed. If you feel really week in BIO dish out the 60 bucks for Qvault or pay a bit more for DATgenius but you would atleast get to have 5 full tests compared to just 10 bio...pm me if you have questions.

Also you should dish out the 30 dollars for Chad's. Definitely worth it. If you can take a ton of notes on it so that you only have to pay once(30$/month) that would save money.

Look broadly through DAT Breakdowns of those that scored above 21+ to get a decent idea.

Chad's videos, Bootcamp, Cliffs, Barrons, and Crack Dat PAT was enough for me. The reason I suggest taking a broad look at breakdowns is that EACH exam is different.

Destroyer has been really helpful to me. Right now I'm using kaplan, destroyer, cliffs, crack dat pat, math destroyer.

With 1 month left I would say go over Chad's videos for GC/OC and take the quizzes each a couple of times. For sure get bootcamp, it will help a ton for ALL sections. If you can afford it, get destroyer too because it's nice having a whole bunch of problems just to practice with.

I really liked DAT Destroyer

Destroyer is a must! Without it 17 AA, with it 23 AA!

Chad's Videos, DAT Destroyer and Math Destroyer and DAT Bootcamp, AP Cliffs 3rd edition and Ferralis' notes are a must if you want a high score.

Other resources if you feel you need more practice:
  • DAT Genius
  • DAT Qvault (Biology)
  • Top Score
  • CRACK DAT PAT
  • DAT Achiever (watch out for this one, it is way more difficult compared to actual exam)
  • https://jcoreview.com/dat/pat (I haven't seen many people on SDN use this). It's there if you need more PAT practice
  • Organic Chemistry Odyssey (If you need more O chem practice)
  • Craig Savage Videos (Free on YouTube)
