so does everyone think BOTH DAT achiever and Topscore are must-haves? I'm just wondering if one of them is better than the other.....

p.s. also how did those of you who have taken the test know when you are truly ready to take the test??

Personally I think that both are great sources of tests, and there are not a lot of worthwhile programs that offer accurate mock tests. The DAT achiever is definitely harder than the real thing, but is a great study tool. Topscore is the most accurate format to the real thing. To answer the question of when you're ready, I don't know. Pick a reasonable date, and stick with it. Personally, I got sick of studying. 😀 Hope this helped.

If being sick of studying is the sign of being ready... I am soooo ready. By the way, as far as the PAT goes, just doing the achiever pat makes you better. After doing achiever stuff and going back to topscore, I just have to laugh it seems so easy, especially hole punching. I have heard, however, that the real DAT is more like the achiever than topscore, which is a bummer. Anyways, thats all I have to say about that.

what about kaplan, the blue book? i'm only using kaplan and my textbooks
to study for DAT. Am i gonna be in trouble?
