Hey everyone!

I am starting dental school this summer and wanted to ask a few questions:

-What resources (color books, videos, etc) did/do you find most helpful? Especially for the classes like anatomy, histology, biochemistry, etc that students find most challenging?

-What supplies or items do you use most often? This can be literally anything. Anything that you use a lot that wouldn’t have thought about. (iPad, coffee maker, dry erase board, etc)

-How did you decide which organizations to join? How active are you in the ones you’re in?

-Do you take hand written notes or type them?

-Any websites or apps that you found helpful?

Any other advice is much appreciated! If there is a thread like this already, please point me in that direction! Thanks so much!

I'm only active in basketball intramurals. Sports are good stress removers

AKlectures is a great resource (he makes youtube vids etc) for many subjects of biochem and physiology and stuff that is on the NBDE 1 and helpful for your first few rough exams.
