i didn't even bother moving. I had that kind of wisdom tooth growth where they had to numb me, slice my gums and hammer it till it broke cause it was growing sideways. On both sides. I smelled burning tooth even though I was supposed to be under and I definitely felt the grinding of my tooth with some kind of saw. It was a living night mare. I got all 4 wisdoms out the same day. Never again. My face was completely bruised for a good week. Oh and once all the meds wore off, I just about passed out lol

awwww yeah the worst part is I had no choice. If i didnt take it out, itll continue pushing my other teeth until they're all smushed and mis aligned. Awesome.

I remember for my wisdom teeth I wasn't put under, only numbed up everywhere around the 4 teeth. I ended up not being given enough local anesthesia and could feel the dentist cutting into my gums and sawing away at the last tooth. Ended up puking pure blood the second after the procedure was over. Absolutely terrible experience. Somehow didn't get dry sockets, though.

I'm thinking about getting mine out soon. I'm definitely going to get a signed blood contract that the oral surgeon will put me under UNCONSCIOUS sedation and not this conscious sedation where they only dope you up enough to be too weak to fight back.

I had 2 pulled out one day and took a mid-term the next day. 😱 Got a A on it too. 🙂

He only did one side of my mouth at a time. Pulled 2 on the left side and then a couple months later did the 2 on the right. I preferred doing it that way to all 4 at one sitting.

Luckily my wisdom teeth weren't impacted or anything complicated. Unluckily, I had state insurance at the time, and no one would take it except for this dentist in my town's type of "red light district." Stains all over the carpet, no real privacy walls between chairs, dentist didn't speak much or use enough local anesthesia, so I could feel a lot of the procedure. Whole body was shaking with terror afterwards, and I've never been one to be afraid of the dentist. Gave me a prescription for Vicodin but I didn't want to use it - popped a couple Advil and Mom drove me to work on a group project at a restaurant, where I proceeded to eat a panini. I'm not good with doctors' orders, ironically.

Trick to this is to get all four done at once, at least in my case. They put me under and I didn't remember a thing.

Of course I then was prescribed strong tylenol for the pain... and suffered for months. Don't be passive about the prescription if you're a wimp when it comes to tooth pain. Get the good s*** and settle for nothing less.
