I'm about 2/3 the way done with my The Berkeley Review Biology I book and I noticed it is mainly all on human systems, but I wasn't sure if I need to be reviewing some of the content just from regular Biology I & II, such as plants, environment, ecosystems, fungus, and non-human related biology that we learned back in intro/general biology?

Should I be supplementing my The Berkeley review material with additional content review, especially if it has been 2-6 years that I've taken some of my pre-reqs? I took Bio 6 years ago. I'm also studying from Khanacademy.

Thank you in advance. 🙂

Focus on human systems and things that can hurt us (bacteria, viruses, fungi). No plant, ecosystem, or environmental review is needed.
How deep into non-human cells and functions does the MCAT go. Do I need the same level of knowledge as I do for human cells/physio? The AAMC guide lists only very few topics from bacteria/viruses, but it does not elaborate much.
