I've heard about First Aid, Crush, and Qbank, but what other materials do people recommend for studying for Step II CK? Do most also use the popular clerkship series books (Blueprints, PreTest, First Aid, etc)?

What is a good length of time to devote to full-time review?

Is it true that most people do better on Step II than I? How are the exams similar/different?

Other than the core clerkships, what material is emphasized on the exam (things like ER, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, etc)?

you might get more assistance if you post this question in the step 2 forum. usmleworld seems to be the popular question source over qbank. questions seem to predominate over books, but usually crush or first aid is enough. depending on how comfortable you are with the material all along 3rd year, 2-4 weeks is plenty, esp if it is during a rotation,

people sometimes do better on step 2 because of it's clinical nature but many people have more time to study for step1 so be careful to not do worse!

hope that helps..like i said, u might have more help in the step 2 forum.
