Studying for the MCAT

Hi! Welcome to the forum. 🙂 First of all, what's your budget? (You don't have to give a number: very low, low, medium, high will suffice.) That can help us guide you.

I am registered to take the MCAT in March and just started studying. I am currently using Nymeria's 100 day MCAT schedule (the schedule is linked below along with the books - buy things used where you can to save money). I decided on this because it seemed like the best bang for my buck and it's tried and true/a lot of people have had success with it. I am a huge fan of Khan Academy (free) for content review.

I have also had good luck with reading verbally complex periodicals like The Atlantic, The Washington Post, and The Economist. Try to extract the main idea/thesis, supporting evidence, and strengths and weaknesses of the author's argument. This should help with the Critical Analysis & Reasoning section (CARS). 🙂

What did you use to help you with your MCAT? Anki, Lecturio? Jack Westin? A tutor? Anything else?
Where are you? (STEM student, second career, etc) What is your goal score? Strengths and Weaknesses??
