Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to study for the PAT section. Any good books/progs dedicated to the topic that you have found beneficial?

The Barron's DAT book has a number of good tips for preparing for the PAT section of the DAT.

Also, take practice tests with Top Score Pro; the top score tests are the most accurate representation of what you will see on the real DAT, including the PAT section.

These, like Kaplan, will be good enough if you happen to be getting the easier version of PAT on the big day. I would definitely get DAT Achiever to get prepared for the worst, not only for PAT, but SNS, and perhaps RCT and QRT as well.

Well the PAT was not my brightest section overall. However, i worked one evrythign from allt he Kaplan tests to Barrons to Topscore and achiever. At teh end of all the practice i felt pretty comfortable but then the test was just insane. I would say though focus on the Achiever and Kaplan stuff they were the best in my opinion. Good Luck

there is only so much studying you can do for the PAT. some say either you got it or you don't. I got a 23 and a 21 on it. i studied for it the first time and looked over it for about 15 minutes the second time. Also, i had spoken with some admissions commity members and they said the PAT didn't hold that much pull in their meetings. mostly BCP is what they're looking for.

however, kaplan does help some. i found that actually taking a piece of paper and folding it up and punching a hole in it helped me greatly with that section of the PAT.

Good luck.
