Hey ppl, im a british citizen and did apply to dental schools in england, i didnt achieve the required entry grades! soo im studying in hungary instead. im more than happy with the teaching here and im glad i didnt repeat a year in england! the american and canadian students studying here get loans from their government and choose to study medicine/dentistry.. if anyone needs advice or help regarding european dental/medical schools, feel free to ask or add me.

That sounds like fun, but wouldn't students returning from these programs potentially have to complete more training to get licensed in the U.S.? They would still have to delay practicing by a year, just on the other end of their education (which would be more frustrating, since they would already be dentists, basically).

I once worked with a Romanian veterinarian who was doing animal husbandry (feeding and cleaning up after lab animals) because he couldn't practice veterinary medicine in the U.S. If you wanted to stay in Hungary, I suppose it wouldn't matter!
