Greetings. I'm an American undergraduate studying philosophy while taking pre-med courses. I have an interest in epidemiology, and I was wondering if anybody knew anything about the public health schools in Canada, particularly the University of British Columbia's School of Population and Public Health, (MPH program) and University of Toronto's Dalla Lana School of Public Health. (MHSC program)

This may be a redundant question, but if I wished to live and work in Toronto or Vancouver, would my best bet would be to attend one of these schools? Or, would you recommend to apply to one of the older, very well funded, schools of public health in the U.S and if admitted, try to find work in one of the Canadian cities after I obtain an MPH?

I don't mean to offend anybody if this is in anyway insulting one of the respective Canadian public health schools, I just don't have a clue on how the job market works, and I am naive in what public health employers favor/disfavor.

Also, keep in mind that I have NO interest in obtaining an M.D. Maybe a phD someday, but I want to stay clear of medical school for my own reasons.
