I've been studying and I am feeling a bit of a burn out. So, I am asking this question to get help. For those of you who've already taken the test, performed above average, what did you do the week prior to the test to prepare? How did you study? For how long? And what did you avoid doing (or studying)? Please be specific! I'm trying to utilized my time efficiently and I don't want to have to cancel my appointment and reschedule because I am not prepared. The last time I took the test I scored average, so I definitely want to improve this time around.

It depends on what type of prep material you have.
I had all of the Kaplan tests/note cards, topscore, and some old DAT's.

I re-took all my tests and used harsher time constaints. EG, as you know Nat. Sci. is 90min. I gave myself 60min. By timing and pushing myself time was not really an issue. Any questions I missed I would go back and figure them out. You may have found that you miss the same type questions over and over. Focus on those. I also would review notecards during the day.

After all that I took the two days prior off. Retrospectivly I am not sure I would have done that again, but I think at the end of the day two more days after 3 months of studying probably won't make much of a difference.

I would not waste my time reading because it is time consuming.

lastly when (if) you do decide to read focus on stuff you don't understand or get so well. People have a tendacy to read/study things they understand because it is easier. Watch out for this.

Good luck and I am sorry I was too lazy to spell check this.
