I understand the best way to do well in dental school is to stay on top of the material and "study" everyday. So when dental students say they study everyday, are they talking about actually studying(memorizing facts, doing practice tests, etc) daily, or is that daily studying primarily condensing notes and making the study guides for subjects up until about a week prior to the test and then they start memorizing and doing practice tests??

I'll be starting dental school soon so your responses will be greatly appreciated!

Review daily lectures and condense notes for the day. By the time exams come around all you need to do is review.

The pacing is different for everyone, so only you can answer that question. But I've heard (and found) that it is easier to condense notes as you go along and thus review everything more easily.
