I’m taking the MCAT in April and only have the 7 book Kaplan set.

My funds will be limited until then, so I can’t really afford to buy any more books from other companies. Will the Kaplan set be enough? I can afford to purchase practice tests, but I don’t want to buy anything else unless I really have to...

Yes, I think so. Khan Academy has plenty of free practice material. I would also recommend investing in all the AAMC resources.

I am going to use this schedule this summer, but remove the physics content review as I'm taking a physics class over the summer. Looks great and it is based on Kaplan set, but with the necessary AAMC materials thrown in at the end.

Content wise, the Kaplan books are all you need. They give you everything you need. My motto always has been, pick a company and stick with it because sometimes if you try to use too many different books it can get overwhelming. I think you should invest in the AAMC material at the bare minimum. You need practice questions and tests. This is almost more important than the content review itself. You need a good source of questions and practice tests so unless you can get some online material from a friend I don't know how you can go about it without spending some money :/
