Stupid Question about Verification

I should know the answer to this, but thanks to SDN I have a support group:

I just started my application on AACOMAS (and AMCAS). I just called the registrars offices not too long ago and had my transcripts sent to both application services. I finished the input of my grades in both systems.......will they just automatically start checking/verifying my grades as soon as they get my transcripts (a process that says can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks)?

Or will I have to complete everything (PS, work experiences, etc.) before they will check my application? In other words...will they only verify after I have everything filled out and submit the applications?

Haha, not a stupid question. 🙂

They won't verify the transcripts until you submit your finalized application. Until you click "send" you can still change the grades you entered. If they checked your grades now, they would have to do it again when you finished your application.

You'll need to finish the entire application and submit it before they even look at it.

You didn't really think they would look at your application before you paid the bill, now did you? 😀

My transcripts were in on June 9 and I paid by money order recieved on June 19, yet here I am GPA not calculated, app not sent 🙁 So much for applying early!
