I'm trying to do the University of Kentucky secondary application, and good god, there are some stupid questions. One asks you to describe your experiences with small group learning, one asks what your experience with computers is ... and the absolute worst is this:
3. How would you describe your ability to use unscheduled time during the day for learning?
What the heck?! I mean, do they really think we're going to say, "yeah, I hate small groups, I don't know anything about computers, and I have terrible study habits"?! I feel so freakin' pretentious writing this mini essay saying, "I have excellent study habits and I appreciate unscheduled time because it allows me to prepare better for my classes" -- but I don't see what else to do....
Anyone else get any really dumb -- not difficult, but stupid -- secondary questions?
