Just came across this in my FA:

Methotrexate:
in my handwriting (and underlined): Contraindicated in pregnancy!!!

Right under the spot where it says clinical use: Abortion.
Wow. That's just brilliant.

I'm sure I'll have more to add as I find them in my final review days.

Lol, well technically you're right. It's possible for it to be contraindicated and used for abortion. For a woman that wants to keep her baby or is unaware that she is pregnant, yet very much opposed to abortion...mtx is contraindicated.

You just need to add "for the non-baby-killers" to the contraindication above.

My favorites are when I hadn't really read FA yet and annotated answers from UWorld that were already written in FA. If only I had bothered to read First Aid... first.

Same.. Sometimes the next thing I read in FA says what I just spent 5 min. annotating/diagramming on the previous page. :smack:

i have more than too many of those.. i like to act before i think..

my favorite one is when i spent 20 minutes running around copying a diagram to paste into first aid only to find that its pretty much been stolen off the same book in the next page
