So a couple of days ago I made a thread asking about whether co-translational and post-translational import were on the DAT because Kaplan's didn't cover it.

Since then, I've come across more than a few subjects that aren't in the Kaplans book (my main study source) but do pop up elsewhere (my old Bio 1A class, Cliffs, etc.). An example is C4 and CAM plants.

I'm sure you guys have run across this dilemma as well. Kaplan's is supposed to be the great source for telling you what's on the test, and I really don't want to spend time looking up stuff that's not going to be on the test.

What have you guys been doing when you run across this situation? Do you look to other sources for info? Or do you just go by Kaplan's?

I am sure I am going to run into this dilemma again and again. I would REALLY love for everyone to tell me that whatever is not in Kaplans will not be on the test. 🙁 BUT, if everyone is actually studying stuff that's not in Kaplan's, I suppose I should too. 🙁

Thanks!!!

If you want the topics that are covered on DAT you should look at the official list of topics covered on DAT by ADA....it's on page 18 of some official ADA guide for DAT...I had the link its not working.

Hopefully someone will post the working link.
