I have been doing gen. chem. subject tests and I am getting 10 mistakes over 30. Is that too much? After I read the solutions I get it, but it is still 10 wrong answers.
Also, it takes me quite some time to do it. I would say about 50min. Is there a time limit for those? Should I be concerned about the time too?
Anyone who has done them?

If you are talking about kaplan subject tests thats ok. Questions and subjects/concepts repeat so try to tone that down to getting 5 or 6 wrong.
Are you using anything else for chem?

Yes, I have gone through AP Shaum's Chem. tests, Destroyer, browsed through textbook, Kaplan White Book. That is about it. I can say that I understand the concepts, but still need a lot of practice on problems since I make mistakes and some things I basically don't know..
What do you think about the timing? Is 30 questions= 30min.?

Depends on how fast you do bio. On my practice tests I did Bio in like 20-25 min and I was pretty good at Orgo, so I had a good 40-45 min for chem.
But set the bar high. Aim for 30-35.
Do you feel you are thinking too much into it or spending too much time on calculations?

I am thinking too long on the problem. I understand it, it just takes time. The calculations part is ok.
So the ratio for Bio/Chem/Ochem is 30min/30min/30min.?
Also, how about the difficulty compared with the subject tests and DAT? ---Because that could be the reason it takes time for me, or should I be really scared now.., that my timing is not good?
