Are there any pharmacists out there who are compounding sublingual allergy drops or have knowledge about it?

I'm only seeing a very few compounding pharmacies offering this service & am trying to better understand why it isn't more routine for local compounding pharmacies versus being offered by a select few specialized pharmacies?

It's probably a complex issue.

Since there are so many allergy treatments available in tablet and liquid form already (Benadryl, Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra, plus prescription products like Palgic) there may be little need for it, and it's only be used as an alternative to an injection or it has to be sterile and only sterile compounding pharmacies can make it.
