Hello everyone!

As the title states, should I even bother sending my application out to dental schools without my DAT or letters of recommendation? I am taking my DAT in 10 days but I heard it takes about 4 weeks to get your GPA verified! :nailbiting:. What do you guys recommend? All opinions are greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I have all my LOR's already written from last year. Problem is these people tend to take their sweet time to submit them :oldman::sendoff:

Applicants submit prior to taking the DAT all the time, but what in the world kept you from having letters of recommendation by now?

I actually have all my LOR's already written from last year. Problem is they apparently want to take FOREVER to submit them for me lol

When you say already written do you mean they are completed or you're re-applying and using the same letters? Regardless you can submit as long as the professor's email/contact info is written in the app.

I'm gonna disagree with some here and say go ahead and submit without LOR and DAT.

It will at least get the transcript process going, you can start on secondaries and your LORs will ideally come in by the time adcoms start reviewing.

Can't you add a professor's e-mail/contact info after e-submitting as well?

Wait so if I sent a professor the link to submit the letters by adding them on my application then I can submit it right then? I don't need to wait for them to actually submit it?
