After this weekend, I will have completed applications to 10 medical schools. 5 MD and 5 DO schools. Is it too late in the season to apply to more schools? I am particularly interested in some MD schools in the DC area, specifically VCU and Georgetown. I have a great sGPA and cGPA, low MCAT, non-trad, 5 years of research and I am a URM (Puerto Rican).
I also have 3 interview invitations. 1 MD, 2 DO...
Does anyone have any great tips on how to prepare for an MD/DO interview? I am really excited and interested in the medical schools at which I have my upcoming interviews. I know there are a couple books and websites on medical school interviews. Does anyone have one that they could recommend? Besides mock interviews, what are other methods that people are using to prepare?
