If by 25th percentile you mean under 500, wait until your new score comes back. If you aren't scoring consistently where you need to be, another year off might have to be your best bet.

I think they are talking about the MSAR mcat percentile breakdown for the school.

If you have a solid GPA and ECs, I would gamble and go for it. At least this way, your fate is in your own hands... if you wait until September, a lot of the interviews will be gone and that is pretty late in the game for them to review your application... not saying it is impossible to get an interview if you submit on september 18, but what if you wait until then, do not get the score you want, and then end up applying late with the same score?
