Submit secondaries without my MD LOR?

So I've been sitting on all of my secondaries for weeks now because my MD letter writer hasn't submitted it to Interfolio yet. I keep asking her, and she keeps saying it'll get there. I met with her tonight, and she still hasn't written it. Says hopefully by end of this week, or early next. Right now I have two science letters, and one non-science. Should I submit my secondaries now, and send an update with her LOR later? Or should I wait for her letter to submit? I have no doubt it'll be my strongest LOR.

Why are you even submitting an MD letter? There's no point in doing that unless a school requires one. Honestly just submit the secondaries without it and inform the schools that its no longer being sent. It won't add much to your application IMO.

It's very aggravating when you're trying to get an LOR and the person says "they'll get to it" over and over. When I was applying for an NROTC scholarship I waited and waited for one of my teachers to write it and he just never did. Wish he would of just told me he didn't have time.

Most people agree that an MD letter isn't all that useful unless s/he supervised you in some longitudinal activity. DO letters are important for DO schools, though.

I think it would be better to have an earlier application without the letter than a late one with it.
