Submiting AACOMAS... HELP!

Im about to submit my aacomas app online, but I have a question about my personal statement. Nowhere does it mention specific reasons why I want to apply to DO schools in particular. Is this okay? Did you guys talk about osteopathy in your ps? I know most secondaries ask about it, so I think I'll be okay, but I just wanted some of your opinions before I submit...

Don't worry about it. I never mentioned it in my personal statement either. Virtually all of your secondaries will ask "Why DO?" - you'll have enough time to explain it then.

I actually think it's better to leave out the "Why DO" question for your secondaries - you don't want your secondaries to be a repeat of your personal statement.
 
I think there was a big discussion about this a while back. Half of people did it, half didnt it seemd. Alot of people said don't because then you leave em hanging and you're going to be asked specifically why DO in the secondarise, AND at the interview.

I didnt because I liked my amcas essya better than anything i said about why DO...so i just cut that one down and used it. talks about why a doc; why i like the idea of prim care; but NOT why DO

I did, thanks! I just wanted to hear some additional responses. I was scrolling over the submit button and needed some instant gratification.
