Being late isn't a problem at Utah since they're pretty much nonrolling

I think being late is more of a problem at the schools you applied to with a ton of applicants, like Wake, Georgetown, GWU, Drexel

You can add more schools without losing your place in the verification queue, BTW (which you can expect to take 6 weeks or so).

When you apply this late, the backup plan is to reapply the following June. So, towards that end, continue to enhance your application throughout this application year so your application demonstrates the expected improvements by the second round.

Hopefully, you've checked on the selection factors for West Virginia.

.

Not necessarily true. I submitted AMCAS October 4 last year and was verified 2 weeks later....Just thought I would add that! 🙂

It would be terrific if that happened again this year. I noticed last year's verifications were more efficient in general, but this year it seems like AMCAS has reverted back to their traditional timing, sorta like they didn't keep the extra help they had acquired, which may be just my impression.
