I am trying to finish these applications right before the deadline for some schools. I have two letters of recommendation from 1. pharmacist 2. supervisor. If a school requires one from a professor and i submit my application anyway, will my application be completely thrown out and not reviewed at all? thanks for your help

WAIT!!! if you cannot find an academic advisor/ professor... check with the schools to see if "personal recommendations[with the exception of FAMILY]", are acceptable...😉

I dont know the answer your question, but if something is required and you don't meet that requirement, then the school has the right to not consider your application complete. Like Smkn said you should contact the school to see if the LORs you have would work.

However, schools might not like the fact that in 2+ years of college, you couldn't find 1 professor to write a letter for you.

NO it won't be thrown away. I had 3 recs from pharmacists and I had asked a science professor around the same time I asked the pharmacists, but since my professor had just had a baby, I knew her response was going to be delayed. I submitted anyway. It took me 3 emails and a visit to her office for to finally fill one out for me. =)

ALSO! DO NOT WAIT ON A LOR! I did that when I was applying on January on a whim just seeing if I could get in and I missed the deadline for the school I really wanted to apply to =/

In conclusion (LOL), submit your pharmCAS because you can always go in and change who you want to fill one out or resend the email if you are doing it electronically. Hope this helped!
