Submitting LOR Question

My school collects LORs through our career center. If I want to send out a letter packet including all of the letters I have, I select letter packet on the AMCAS application. However, it asks me for a primary Author. Who should I put in as the contact? And how can I get an application ID on the letter if they were written months before I even opened the application?
