Submitting Loyola Application- question about recommendation section

Hey,

has anyone else come upon the following problem? I wanted to submit my application to Loyola online, but they require you to add 3 recommenders before submitting. My issue is that I only have 1 recommender because I'm having a committee packet from my school sent out that includes all of my letters, and the recommender that I included is my adviser, who compiles the letter. I don't want to add any more recommenders because their letters are already included in the committee packet, so how do I submit the application with just one recommender

i was in the same situation. i sent my committee letter/packet via interfolio, and on the on-line application i filled in the 3 names of my letter writers within the compiled letter, including the compiler. i was accepted here recently, so apparently this should do the trick. hope that helps!

congrats on your acceptance...

so just to get this straight, you wrote the names, and provided the email addresses of all three recommenders, even though you were gonna have them all sent together via the committee letter?

I just don't want to disturb my other recommenders by providing their email addresses, since I haven't been in touch with some of them in years (I had the letters compiled while I was an undergrad two years ago)

good point, i just included the recommenders' names without their email addresses. then i sent a committee letter and packet their way via interfolio.

i submit in early december and was complete by the end of december.

(as for my stats, sorry, but i'm a little shy to share. maybe if i continue to plaster comments all over these forums, i will eventually feel more comfortable 😛 )
