Submitting one week later won't really hurt me that much right?

It's way more convenient for me to shadow in the week of May 25 than the week of May 18, which means I'll be submitting my app one week later. I know it's early in the cycle but this delay won't really hurt me right?

Sending out a week later is a very minuscule difference vs. sending out a month later.

Is shadowing the only reason you'd be waiting? I don't think it would hurt you, but if it were me, I'd submit earlier without the shadowing. You can update your application later. It would be different if you were waiting for grades or an MCAT score.

Guess I worded my reply wrong. Not enough caffeine. I'm sure OP will be fine, too! However, if it were me, I wouldn't wait just to add a bit of shadowing, only to add grades/MCAT/etc.
