Is this possible/recommendeD? Or would it be a better option to have everything completed on AACOMAS and hit the submit button immediately after taking my exam? I know primaries take FOREVER to process and I'd like to get my application in as soon as I possibly can. I am taking the MCAT July 9th. Thanks

Some schools will go by your initial mcat score and may or may not wait to see your second score before eliminating you. So it depends on how high your first score. If like a 505 then go for it, if a 495 then you might get auto eliminated. I ran into that with a couple of schools I submitted to before my mcat was done. It became a email pain and delayed a couple of schools assessing my application. One because they listed my score as "0". August is on time for DO programs, so if your application is good otherwise you should be fine.

An option is to submit to a throw-away school (one you really could care less about) to get everything verified/completed. Then when your second score comes in submit to the rest of the schools.

that is probably the best choice. if you, God forbid, bombed the MCAT and you submitted the primary to schools then that looks bad...

stick to the option mentioned above in quotes
