Is it ok if I submit my amcas before all my letters are in? It will be a letter packet set up by my school. Also, I know many sdners like to submit on the first day but is that really necessary? My advisor tells me that any time in June is fine since no med schools will see the application until June 24th or something like that.

without LORs is fine, but you have to have them before you can be considered complete after submitting your secondary. And not necessarily any time in June as it takes ~2 weeks to process your app, but as long as you're complete somewhere around mid June you should be ok.

LORs are fine as long as they're in by the time you submit secondaries, by June 24th if possible. But you want to get your primary in ASAP because of the verification bottleneck that occurs in June. You can be stuck waiting for verification for weeks if you apply mid-june or later.

LORs by Labor Day are fine. We know that many excellent schools don't release committee letters until late August/September and I will assure you it does not hurt their students.

So I can still receive secondaries without LORs?
