for those of you who induce patients in the office, where do you get the suboxone- do you give a pt a scrip and have them bring it back to the office or do you get a supply of suboxone from somewhere?

for those of you who induce patients in the office, where do you get the suboxone- do you give a pt a scrip and have them bring it back to the office or do you get a supply of suboxone from somewhere?

I have them fill their script and bring it in, with pretty firm instructions not to start without me! In some ways it's a good test of how they'll manage compliance-wise. I haven't had any real problems with this approach.

I also have them fill the script. Can't imagine the logistics and paperwork invovled in keeping a supply in the office.
