Thinking back to my undergrad years, I knew quite a few people who slacked off in their classes but studied hard for the MCAT and managed to get excellent scores. I also know some people who did well in their classes but really struggled with the MCAT. Does anyone have or know anyone with similar stories regarding Step 1?

24 MCAT- I studied decently hard for it but just went about it the wrong way
239 USMLE I- Studied pretty hard for classes and studied hard for boards. Biggest difference was that I studied the right way for USMLE.
