I have read about 15 body books that havent taught me much. I need some books that will teach me some new things, and how to treat them, and things like that. Thanks!

I am reading a book called Complications, by Atul Gawande. It is great. They are mostly stories about his experiences, but there is medical terminology & procedures in the stories themselves. After the first night of reading, I already knew quite a bit of central lines. Then, once you are done with that one you can continue with his next book Better.

House of God is a medical classic. Highl recommended.

I strongly recommend Better, but it does not deal with specific medical terminology and procedures as much as it does the author's experiences. It took me about a day to read because it I couldn't put it down :). Procedures are mentioned and brought up, but are not explained in detail as a medical textbook might.
