Suggestion on materials for RC section Plz.

English is my second language, I am a slow reader. I am hoping if you guys and gals could suggest something that you've use and would recommend it to others. Thanks

I used Kaplan's MCAT verbal reasoning to speed up my reading comprehension. I found MCAT's VR to be much harder than DAT's RC, consequently I found DAT RC to be easier after doing MCAT VR. But note that MCAT's VR is different than DAT because MCAT passages are shorter with less questions and there are more inference questions.

Well said, even a better source is Exam Crackers 101 passages, thats what I did. Good luck my friend, I had the same problem

Also, just try reading a couple scholarly articles a day to get used to scientific reading and increase your speed.

I borrowed my friend's Kaplan MCAT book. Don't buy it if you can't borrow someone's book, find some scholarly journal articles and read those instead.

I am getting ready for the DAT right now, and I am also worried about the RC section, since English is my second language.
My Kaplan instructor recommended i read the articles from Nature magazine. They are a bit dry, and very scientific. I have been reading at least one per day for the past few months and I can see that RC is getting much better for me. Check it out!
