I am a working towards getting into Pharm. School but I was just wondering if anyone can suggest a easier, good, and less lengthy book for studying to get certified for Pharm. Tech. I know it is not a requirement but I would like to get certified so I can work in the Pharmacy and get the experience, the book I have is too long and lengthy. Any help would be good...???

I know two books that I used for the PTCB: 1) Mosby's Review for the PTCB, which is specifically a test prep book, and has questions very similar to the PTCB, and 2) The Pharmacy Technician, 2nd edition, published by Morton Publishing. This is actually the text used in the Pharmacy tech class at the community college in our city. The PTCB book is shorter, and it has lots of test questions. The text is longer, naturally, but it is good for clarification if some topic has really got you confused. Hope these help out some, and good luck!
