oh i was gonna say go snowboarding...
so you want an EC to do....
if you are a good snowboarder then you can teach little kids how to snowboard at any ski resorts that are near you.
haha ok so enough with the boarding...
do not break a committment. that would be messed up.
the red cross always looks for volunteers in many of its departments..you can try them out...
how about trying volunteermatch.org
they have some options that you can do as well.

k, im looking for a good extracurricular to do over winter break, i tried applying to some hospitals but they all want like 6 month committments. Is it ok to break a committment and work there for the month 😀. Or what else should i do =0.
Its a really bad idea to knowingly break a commitment like that. Hospitals in my experience devote a lot of time and energy to training volunteers, and to simply volunteer for a month would waste everyone's time. You would spend most of the time training and learning the ropes, instead of doing anyway, and the hospital would get no return on their training either.
A lot of hospitals have less intense requirements and commitments because they expect less out of you and give you less training-- these are probably the hospitals you want to focus on if you are only going to work for a month.
Hospitals will find out youre an undergrad and that you are going back to school, and to knowingly break a commitment is really dishonest and hurts everyone. You are better off looking for a hospital without such a requirement or elsewhere.

Try feeding the homeless at a soup kitchen. Even though it's not really medical, it's admirable.
