I plan on studying for the new GRE's, and I was wondering if there are already books or study material out? Or would I have to wait until after August to get any sort of study material? What is the best way to prepare for this?
I was at the bookstore that other day and I heard some college students talk about the new GRE and how there isn't anything on the shelves for the new workbooks. ETS did send me a CD like 2-3 weeks after I registered for the GRE, maybe they'll send you new GRE material on the CD they send you.
I'm using Kaplan's verbal and math workbooks, the "New GRE premier" guide by Kaplan, the crash course guide by Princeton Review, and the official ETS guide.
Amazon.com has excellent prices, so check them out! 😀
I'm taking the new GRE in a few months, and I've been studying with Kaplan's New GRE guide. It does a great job of describing the new GRE and how to study for it. If you type "new gre" in an Amazon search, you'll find a bunch of guides.
I didn't get a CD either, but there is an official study guide and a practice test on the ETS website, so maybe that's what they used to send out on a CD.
