Suggestions On Where to Apply?

Throw in like 4 more schools to keep it safe. Somewhat OOS friendly state schools are Temple, Pittsburgh, but your DAT is def below avg for both. The GPA is very good though. Try MUSC, Tufts and Boston if you're ok with the northeast region as well.

But I read that Tufts and Boston do not accept CC credits.

Then don't apply there. I actually don't know anything about CC credits. Check w each individual school and make sure. Try Case Western also. Great program.

I would add NOVA, Case and VCU to the list! Good list overall. I would apply to 20 just to keep it safe!

Creighton is actually a very underrated private school. You can self request an interview post Dec 1st and explain why you want to go there. Not a bad way to go if you ask me. Cost of living is low. And Omaha is a great city.

I would add all the schools Kitty listed plus some of mine ; ) : Pitt, temple, MUSC, case, VCU and possibly Nova

Your DAT is below Pitt's averages, but your benefit is that you're OOS. And Pitt is private/public, so they take about 70% OOS applicants. Your GPA is DEFINITELY good enough for Pitt. I am attending at a school where my DAT is slightly above matriculant average but GPA is about 0.1 to 0.2 below their overall and sci GPA average. I'd say try Pitt and Case FOR SURE because they are both pretty good schools. But just prepare to do a ton more research learning at Pitt and get wow'd at Case's easier going first year, because Case actually did some amazing stuff to make first years lives easier. Which means second year is tougher than 1st lol. Either way apply EARLY EARLY EARLY EARLY EARLY.

You have a strong GPA! You never know what could happen. Pitt and Case are definitely good schools to add. MUSC is not very out of state friendly and is extremely expensive but still a great school!
