Hello, I would like to know if anyone knows of someone successfully suing a caribbean school and what were the circumstances and outcome?

It depends on the reason for the litigation and the jurisdiction of the courts involved.

In other words, why and where would you sue?

I have no such plans at this time. I would simply like to read the history of such lawsuits, if they exist, to understand a little better where the line is crossed into actionable conduct.

It seems that there are a few people every semester that swear vengeance on one Carib school or another (legally speaking). It usually ends with the realization that even though the schools have American offices, they are registered in foreign countries and American courts have limited jurisdiction. The only angle that can be exploited is that of the DOE's ability to take three of the schools off government loans lists.
