hey guys! i was wondering if you guys could post your stats here and share updates if you have gotten interviews!! or if anyone is partaking in early decision?

also if anyone has any idea about the range of acceptance in the past at sullivan university? i have a 2.85 gpa but a lot of volunteer/shadow/research experience along with strong LOR's. taking my pcat on september 4th. do you guys think i have a shot if i get a 75 or higher? thanks!

I just checked Pharmcas and it says minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 for Sullivan.
But according to Sullivan's website, it says preference is given to 3.0 GPA or higher.
So I guess 2.85 is fine.
Try to score 85+! dream big. You will be fine.

Thank you!! I am hoping I can get in the high 80s 🙂

I got an interview yesterday for Oct 3. It's the early decision interview but I didn't apply early decision. I'm guessing it's bc I have good stats but I don't know.

i applied regular too but got invited for oct 3rd. i emailed to re schedule to further date 😛

How many schools did you apply to? Seems like you got interviews from each of the posted here. Too many of backup schools for ya. 😉

I applied 20.. I am now regretting it 😛 too many backup schools lol

Sullivan was the only school I applied to, and I applied for early decision. I took my pcat today, bombing QA. :/

Anyway, best of luck to you guys!

hey i just took my pcat yesterday. bombed QA as well. but everything else went well. is your application complete? how are you sending your pcat scores in? please let me know!!

hey guys so i have a question. i sent my transcripts in 2 weeks ago and pharmcas has still not received it and I'm worried that I'm gonna get bumped to regular decision. so those who have received their interviews..CONGRATS! when did you guys submit your application? was your gpa calculated by pharmcas already? please let me know I'm freaking out!

also! people who got interviews, can u please post your stats!! thanks 🙂

Make sure to find out your PCAT cid number (check your previous pcat email or pcat website), and enter that number to your pharmcas application.
(on the left hand side of your pharmcas application page, my profile -> account information and enter CID number)

IF YOU CHOSE PHARMCAS 104 as your PCAT designation, it will automatically be updated. If not, you need to go back to your pcat website and add pharmcas-104 as the score recipient. (might have to pay if you did not choose pharmcas when you sign up)

It took about 2-3 weeks for pharmcas to receive my transcript so i guess be patient..
did you get the transcript request form from each school you went to and ask your schools to attach it to pharmcas?
if you followed the instruction on transcript page, you will be fine.

I submitted my application on 8/15ish, right after my gpa was verified. PCAT score was uploaded around the same time ( i took july test)

i have around 3.25 overall GPA, 3.15 sGPA and 93 PCAT!

I submitted mine around August 8th after my gpa was verified. Verification took about 2-3 weeks if I remember correctly. I have 3.52 cum and 3.58 sci.
I took the pcat in July and it took about a month for it to be uploaded to pharmcas. Make sure you send your scores to pharmcas. My supplemental scores were the same as the official results.
Verbal-58 🙁
bio-97
rc-84 <- luck
qa-85 <- surprised bc i ran out of time and had to randomly bubble 10+ questions but i was confident with my previous answers
chem-88 <- also surprised bc ran out of time (didnt know the passages were experimental), but only had to randomly bubble 4.
comp-91
writing-4
I also had a great personal statement and really good LORs from my Ochem and calculus professors. I am also a ky resident.

It took PharmCAS about a week to calculate my gpa once transcripts were in, but I submitted my application very early.

For what it's worth, I have a 3.44s, 3.15c gpa, and have not received an invitation to early decision interviews. Averaging grades really hurt my cumulative gpa due to a car crash I had my freshman year.

Should Sullivan University reject me, will they inform me? Or will no response be their way of rejection me?
I think if they don't want to interview you, you will just never here from them, but if you get an interview and are rejected they should let you know. Don't stress, you'll be fine. They are probably just waiting on your pcat scores to invite you.

INTERVIEW ^_^ I rescheduled for the 31st though. Sullivan is the best school hands down! Whoever ends up getting accepted from this post will be awesome. We can all show up on the first day of matriculation like "Oh hey, you're from SDN"

I'm assuming I'm the only out of state applicant 😳

i am also applying from out of state (illinois)

hey guys i forgot to enter my CID in my pharmcas and i took the pcat in september..do you think my application is gonna get slowed down even further? and by the way, congrats guys for your interviews. so happy for you guys!!

Just an update for you guys. Only 11 people attended the interview on October 3rd. The staff was fantastic. I was very impressed with everyone.

Good luck to you guys getting ready to interview. I'll answer what I'm allowed for you guys if you have any questions.
I interviewed there today as well. Which one were you?

Yeah, I remember you! How do you think you did? I know I stumbled through one particular interview question.
I think I did okay, but I screwed one up as well. Completely lost my train of thought in the middle of answering lol. But there werent a lot of people there and they spoke like all of us would be accepted but I don't know. Is sullivan your #1 choice?

I am applying to sullivan as well. I am curious what the publications section on the pharmcas application is all about. I am not sure what to put. Any help?

Sullivan is my only choice. I've had a few friends attend Sullivan, and they've really enjoyed it.

What about you? Where else are you applying?
I applied to u of k as well but Louisville is my hometown so I'd rather go to sullivan. I hope to see you there 🙂

I'm pretty sure that section is for if you've had any of your research published in a journal. If you haven't just leave it blank.

Thanks! That's what I thought. I am a re-applicant to sullivan. I am from the louisville metro area. This is my first choice school.

Check your email! I was accepted!
Wow congrats. I hope to see you there. I got my application in a little late. I submitted it October 1st. I am taking my pcat again in November. If you don't mind sharing can you share your stats. I am more worried about the pcat score over everything else. I am graduating from Indiana University Southeast this spring with a BA in Biochemistry. I also have over 4 years of retail pharmacy experience and other extracurricular activities at school. My GPA is 3.125 currently but should go up after this semester. I am retaking some classes. I wondering what my chances are of getting accepted. I'm so anxious.

I had a 3.15c, 3.44s gpa. My pcat score was low, but I had a year experience interning in a pharmacy, great LOR's, and have 8 years as a Trooper. I was certainly the underdog academically, but made up for it in other aspects. I had a lot of life/work experiences that younger applicants just haven't had the opportunity to experience. Applying in my late 20's was a benefit for me.

I agree with that. Sullivan is really big on extracurricular activities and experiences. I hope that having a degree and all my pharmacy experience will make up for my academics. I unfortunately have some classes that are not required for pharmacy that are weighing my gpa down. Fingers crossed that this is my year!

I also interviewed on the 3rd and was accepted. I applied as early decision. 3.89 gpa 91 pcat

Hey guys! Congratulations to all of you that were accepted, that is soooo exciting I bet 🙂

Trubnahs I think I saw you on the facebook page! Why were you guys standing in front of doors like that? :wacky:

Does anybody know any information about P3 rotations at Sullivan? For instance, are you required to intern strictly in the Louisville area or are you allowed to choose your hometown?

Congratulations Again :soexcited:

I'm one of the guys. 'Tall guy' being ruled out, I was the one without facial hair and lighter colored hair. (I think I remember the dark hair guy also having facial hair). Yes, I'll be accepting the invitation. Pretty sure I remember both of your faces and names. Glad we got in!!

This is why you stand at the door:

guys! question, what was the interview like? what kind of scenarios did the MMI consist of? any tips, advice?

The interviewers were both staff and students. There were seven different rooms and each interview was one-on-one. You had three minutes to read a scenario, then six minutes to answer the question and any followup questions they may have had.

The staff was friendly and outgoing which helped me relax.

Obviously I cannot give you the scenarios, but I'd recommend watching videos on YouTube to understand the process a little better.
thank you! sorry i didn't know you weren't supposed to share the scenarios 🙁 oops!! but thank you for that. i will look on youtube. any other suggestions? also people who already interviewed, how did you guys prepare?

thank you all for being so positive and sharing tips to help the rest of us! you guys are incredible!!!

Hey guys! I got an interview offer for October 31. I am traveling from south florida and I'm so nervous... Good luck to everyone!!!

Did you had a writing section? I saw in the interview schedule that says 'Activity and writing'. How was that?
