summer before opto school?

hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to take undergrad classes in your summer semester (may-aug) and still have enough time to start opto school in september?, assuming you have applied in like January of that year with a plan to obtain your degree by the end of the summer semester?

Not sure if opto school begins in september, but usually, there is a good 2-3 week break between semesters, in undergrad.

we have orientation on aug 13 at ICO. classes start Aug 16.

but, I know NECO starts the first week in September. Right before labor day.

UMSL starts Aug 23 with orientation the Thursday/Friday before.

Pco starts classes aug 23rd, but has an entire week of orientation which begins on aug. 16th. Don't know why it's so long.

Are you sure it isn't just a day of orientation, on Aug. 16, 2010, followed by several days off until classes begin?

Orientation: August 26 & 27

No, I'm not completely sure, but I think there are things scattered throughout the week of the 16th including the formal orientation as well as activities like a cook-out, etc... I must have come across it either on the salus website from a previous years class, or maybe here on SDN. Someone mentioned a phillies game. Wish I could remember. Not sure when the white coat ceremony is either, but did read that parents were not invited. It's really bugging me now. I'm starting a new thread to see if any OD 2's will give some info.
