Hey all, I have a question about classifying this EC. I've volunteered at a summer camp for children with muscle diseases. We bathe, dress, help the children eat, get their meds, etc. while talking with them, hanging out, and helping them have a great time. I'm inclined to put this as "clinical" volunteering because I'm working directly with very sick kids and I've read the "if you can smell the patients.." rule, I'm just not completely sure because we're out in the woods as opposed to a hospital or clinic... sorry if this is dumb quesiton, this app is making me quesiton every little thing, haha. Thank you!

I'd say you could classify that as clinical, but honestly any volunteer experience is going to look great on you app and you will be given the opportunity to explain the details of the experience.

Is there a nurse, PA, PT, or OT in the camp? A physician? Are you assisting these professionals? Or are you performing the same tasks you would while, say, babysitting? Just because the children happen to have a medical condition doesn't necessarily mean they are "sick."

Sometimes you have a choice to spin an activity toward one classification or another, but if you claim it is Medical/Clinical, be sure to sell that tag in your description.
