Summer Class Question :)

Hi SDN family,

Quick question. I'm currently attending another college (Guest Student) for one summer class and its my first semester there (Ends August 15) and it looks like my transcripts will be sent to PHARMCAS for Verification before I recieve a grade for the course. I'm applying early decision. Will my grade show up on my application?

If it's being sent before you receive the grade for your course how can it show up in your application?
Something similar is happening to me. I just finished my summer classes, and I will get my grades August 7th, so I'm just waiting for my grades before I request my transcripts 🙂

Hey thanks alot for your response 🙂 I have another question for you if you don't mind since you're in the same position ^_^

The early decision deadline is September 2. After the semester technically ends and the teacher puts the grades and what not, I can expect to have my grades by August 18. If I were to submit a application request form by then (August 18), wouldn't it be WAYY too late since the early decision deadline is the 2nd and it takes nearly a month for PHARMCAS to recieve and verify your transcripts. Thanks 🙂

I just submitted my application for early decision last night, since I was also afraid of the time it took to calculate the GPA. I want my application to be complete ASAP. I personally would get the process going, so they start entering the grades. Then send them the updated transcript with the summer class. You don't want to be fighting time. It's already the 5th, so maybe it wouldn't make much of a different to wait until the 18th. You can e-mail PharmCAS, they are pretty good about answering e-mails.
