Hey guys i have a quick question about this upcoming summer. Im currently a sophomore and at my school, we are supposed to take Physics as a Junior. However, physics at my school has a reputation of being exceptionally hard and its definitely not my strongest subject. I was curious, would it look bad if i decided to take Physics over the summer at a school closer to me? I still plan on taking it at a 4-year institution but was wondering if it would be worth my time to just go ahead and take it during the school year so it can effect my GPA for my main school. Do the dental schools look at your GPA differently if you took science classes at various institutions or do they sort of treat it as a vacuum. I also wanted to do physics in the summer because im trying to work in time to study for the DAT during Junior year and wanted to fit in a double major.

thanks for any help!

That should be completely okay! A lot of people take the entire Physics series at University of Sussex in England over summer too, in case you wanna take it at a fun place. Good luck! 🙂

I doubt they'd care much, especially for physics. You don't even need it for the DAT, even though it's a requirement for many schools. I've seen lots of people in these threads take physics at a CC and not run into any problems, so especially if you're taking it at a 4-year university, you shouldn't have any issues!
