I need to get some math classes out the way, so would it be a good idea to take math online along with a 40hr week summer research internship? I dont want to hurt my gpa...

I'm doing that too! except I'm taking O-chem 1 and 2 and doing a ton of research. No time for the lab though..

What's your commute like?
The program provides the housing so the commute isnt the problem. (Why did you ask that? just curious..) But I was thinking about taking math online incase I could make it to class. I hate online classes with a passion but I really need to get these classes out the way. What do you think?

Well, if you have a commute, and your math class isn't on the same campus as your research job, then that would suck. But this doesn't sound too bad. Make sure your lab PI is OK with you leaving for an hour or two each day, set out some time in your schedule for the homework and review (6:30-8:30 every day after the class should be plenty of time), and be ready to sacrifice the occasional weekend and you should easily be able to do it.

No need to do it online; you'll only do worse that way if you don't like online classes.
