Summer classes while doing secondaries

Hey guys I had a quick question. I have signed up for electromagnetism physics for summer session which runs from june 26 to aug 8. In that session I also signed up for a writing class. And for session which runs from aug 11th to sept.25, i signed up for optics physics. Having said this, I am thiking this whole thing over cuz I never thought about secondaries. I am submitting my AADSAS on the may 15th, so would I expect early secondaries( if i do at all), in that case, should i take easy first session? Can you guys give me some feedback if whether u were in this situation? I would appreciate any help.

are you worried about the difficulty of the secondaries?

for dental school, most secondaries are very easy. I think UCSF had one of the more detailed one, where they asked you 10 open eneded question about your background, why dent, etc. Sone schools don't even have a secondary, and other school's secondaries consist of just writing in your name and sending in the fee.

If you feel you can do well those classes, and they sound hard just from the title, then take it. You WILL have time to fill out your secondaries.

A bigger issue is Interviews. Check with each of your professor if they would let you miss a class or two in the event of an interview. Still, some dent schools give you options for an interview date, and if they don't you can ask.

Agreed with the previous guy... most secondaries are just used so they can collect their "processing fee", expect to pay out the nose for those too. I only had a few that actually required some thought (for short essays) the rest just asked my name/address/major/date of graduation and maybe what classes I was going to complete in the next year. Not a big deal. I went to school full time in the summer that I applied and secondaries did not take time away from class or anything if that is what you were wondering.

I know someone who is now at BU Dental who did most of her application stuff when she was studying in England over the summer (latter part of the summer). Anything is possible if you plan and are on top of things.

thanx a lot for the responses, ya i am worried about the amount of time it takes to fill them out and the difficulty of it. I am worried about how long the ucsf, ucla and upenn ones look. But if many other schools don't have secondaries at all, then maybe i can handle it.

Most secondaries require nothing more than sending in a check. You'll be fine.

Secondaries are a no-brainer and as others have pointed out the hardest part is signing the check for their fee. The real question is why on earth are you torturing yourself with so much physicis?

oh...this is just part of the 1 year physics requirement..I am on a quarter system, i took the mechanics physics, which is 1 quarter. UCLA breaks it down into 3 physics topics, so the ones i mentioned are the other two to complete a year.
